Volunteers needed for 2023 Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout presented by PepsiCo

EL DORADO, Ark. (July 27, 2023) – Golf enthusiasts are encouraged to sign up to volunteer for the 2023 Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout presented by PepsiCo from Sept. 20-24 at top-ranked Mystic Creek Golf Course, organizers announced Thursday.

“Volunteers are essential for keeping the tournament running smoothly,” said Tournament Director Courtney Crotty Kelley. “They’re the backbone of the event, and we appreciate their hard work each year.”

This year’s tournament will benefit nonprofit partners #teamcorrie Cancer Foundation, Susan G. Komen and UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. The tournament also provides an opportunity for high school and college golf teams to study the sport’s rising stars and possibly glean tips to improve their own game.

Volunteer opportunities start with the Pro-Am on Sept. 20 and run through the conclusion of the tournament on Sept. 24. Available positions include cart drivers, marshals, spotters and more. Volunteers receive a tournament polo and are provided a meal during assigned shifts.

Full details about volunteering are available at eldoradoshootout.com/volunteers. Anyone who is interested can also email questions to shootout_volunteers@murphyusa.com. No prior golf experience or golf knowledge is required to volunteer.
