EL DORADO, ARK. (July 12, 2022) – Murphy USA announced on Tuesday that the El Dorado Shootout tournament is slated for Sept. 23-25 at Mystic Creek Golf Course – ranked best golf course in the state by Golfweek – where top female golfers will compete for a total purse of $225,000.
“As part of the Epson Tour, the official qualifying tour of the LPGA tour, golf fans can expect to see top contenders competing for this $225,000 prize,” Tournament Director Courtney Crotty Kelley said. “In fact, the 2017 winner of the El Dorado Shootout, Australian Hannah Green, won the LPGA Championship two years later.”
In addition to the fierce competition, there are other fun family-friendly events open to the public, including a free Junior Golf Clinic and food trucks. Thanks to the support from First Financial Bank, attendance at the El Dorado Shootout is free.
