Top women golfers to compete for $337,500 prize on road to LPGA
EL DORADO, Ark. (July 23, 2024) – Murphy USA recently announced the 2024 El Dorado Shootout tournament presented by PepsiCo and Celsius is set for Sept. 20-22 at Mystic Creek Golf Course. Over these three days, top women golfers will compete for a total purse of $337,500 at a course Golfweek named one of the best in Arkansas in 2023.
“Year after year, we see some of the top golfers on the Epson Tour return to compete at Mystic Creek,” Tournament Director Courtney Crotty Kelley said. “With a course that continues to challenge even veteran golfers, the competition is tough and exciting. The tournament provides a great opportunity for fans to watch these skilled athletes make their way through the course.”
The tournament provides more than just a chance to see these athletes in action, though. There are activities scheduled throughout tournament week, starting on Sept. 16, including a free Junior Clinic, a concert in downtown El Dorado’s Murphy Arts District and more. Admission to the tournament is free, thanks to support from Boston Consulting Group.
