Top women golfers to compete for $225,000 prize on road to LPGA
EL DORADO, Ark. (July 6, 2023) – Murphy USA announced on Thursday that this year’s El Dorado Shootout tournament presented by PepsiCo is set for Sept. 22-24 at Mystic Creek Golf Course. Over three days, top women golfers will compete for a total purse of $225,000 at a golf course ranked best in the state by Golfweek.
“Every year, the El Dorado Shootout brings some of the top players in women’s golf to Mystic Creek,” Tournament Director Courtney Crotty Kelley said. “This is definitely an exciting and competitive stop on their way to the LPGA, and it’s a great opportunity for fans to watch these women compete.”
The tournament provides more than a chance to see these top contenders in action, though. The Junior Clinic is a great opportunity for kids to learn from some of these women. Admission to the tournament is free, thanks to support from Boston Consulting Group.
