Do I have to buy a ticket to get into the tournament?
No! The El Dorado Shootout is FREE to attend.
Can I bring my child to the tournament?
Yes! The Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout is a family-friendly event, and all ages are welcome to attend.
What time does the tournament start?
Gates open at 6 a.m. daily with tee times starting between approximately 7:15 and 7:30 a.m. and play ending between approximately 5 and 6 p.m.
What should I wear to the tournament?
We suggest wearing polo shirts with shorts, skirts, or cotton pants, and ask that you refrain from wearing denim and t-shirts. September in Arkansas can still be quite warm. Dress accordingly and consider light removable layers.
Can I bring my own chair to the tournament?
Yes, guests are encouraged to bring collapsible chairs to watch from the sidelines.
What if I feel overheated while at the tournament?
If feeling overheated, find shade. A first aid station with medics will be on-site. Remember to stay hydrated!
What kind of etiquette are guests required to follow at the tournament?
The El Dorado Shootout allows more access than most tournaments, so spectators will be able to get close to these amazing golfers. Just remember, golf is a quiet sport because the athletes are concentrating intently as they try to win part of a $225,000 purse.
Will food and drinks be available at the tournament?
Mystic Grill will offer a limited menu for purchasing food and beverages. Additionally, beverage stations will be set up at various holes around the golf course.
