EL DORADO, Ark. (Aug. 8, 2024) – Tournament organizers are encouraging golf enthusiasts to volunteer for the 2024 Murphy USA El Dorado Shootout presented by PepsiCo and Celsius at top-ranked Mystic Creek Golf Course from Sept. 20-22.
“Our volunteers are the backbone of the tournament,” Tournament Director Courtney Crotty Kelley said. “They keep the event running smoothly and provide support for the golfers, the Epson Tour team and the Murphy USA team.”
The 2024 El Dorado Shootout benefits nonprofit partners #teamcorrie Cancer Foundation, Susan G. Komen and the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This year’s tournament will also provide an opportunity for high school and college golfers to observe and learn from these professional golfers.
Volunteer opportunities begin with the Pro-Am Tournament on Sept. 18 and run through the conclusion of the tournament on Sept. 22. Available positions include cart drivers, marshals, spotters and more. Volunteers will receive a tournament polo and are provided meals during their assigned shifts.
Full details about volunteering are available at eldoradoshootout.com/volunteers. Anyone who is interested can also email questions to shootout_volunteers@murphyusa.com. No prior golf experience or golf knowledge is needed to volunteer.
